Day of the emergency services

This year, Bad Hall will once again host the popular Day of the Emergency Services at Karl-Wögerer-Platz.
On Sunday, 31 May 2026, the fire department, Red Cross and police invite the public to experience an exciting and varied day all about the work of the blue light organizations.

The day of action offers exciting insights behind the scenes of the emergency organizations. Visitors can experience tasks, equipment and vehicles up close. The offer is aimed at all age groups - from interested adults to families with children.

Bad Hall fire department
The fire department presents its emergency vehicles and modern equipment. Visitors can experience the wide range of tasks performed by the fire department in an extensive display of equipment. There is also the opportunity to have your fire extinguisher checked (every two years!)

Red Cross
The Red Cross offers insights into the world of first aid, demonstrates resuscitation measures and provides information about the various branches of the organization. Visitors can get active themselves and try out simple first aid techniques.

Police
The police present their vehicles and equipment and offer a fingerprint station - particularly exciting for children and young people. Officers will also be on hand to answer questions about safety and prevention.

Stem cell typing - giving for life
There is the opportunity to be typed as a stem cell donor and thus potentially become a lifesaver.

A day for the whole family

The blue light challenge, numerous hands-on stations, a varied children's program and a bouncy castle round off the program and provide entertainment for the whole family.

Food and drink will be well catered for. A section of the Bad Hall town band will provide the musical accompaniment.

The net proceeds of the event will be used for important purchases in the operations center and thus directly benefit the safety of the population.
