Interesting facts about the Pyhrn-Priel AktivCard
ThePyhrn-Priel AktivCard is the free guest card available when you stay at a member establishment during your holiday in the 360° Alpine Region in Upper Austria. From 1 May to 1 November, you’ll receive it automatically on arrival when staying at one of around 190 partner establishments – valid from the day of arrival until the day of departure. It gives you access to over 60 free services and numerous discounts across the mountain landscape of Hinterstoder, the Kalkalpen National Park and the region’s cultural attractions.
The AktivCard is linked to an overnight stay at a partner establishment in the 360° Alpenland region. You’ll receive it on arrival – no application required, at no extra cost. It’s valid from just one night’s stay and will be with you throughout your entire stay in the south of Upper Austria.
The Pyhrn-Priel AktivCard is always valid from 1 May to 1 November; however, if 2 November falls on a Saturday or Sunday, it remains valid on those days as well. Over these 185 days, the region – with its mountains, alpine pastures, river valleys and towns – really comes into its own – and you can make use of the included services as often as you like, from the day you arrive right through to the day you leave.
You’ll receive the AktivCard after just one night’s stay at a partner establishment. This makes it ideal for short breaks, long weekends or spontaneous getaways in the heart of Upper Austria.
Yes. With the Pyhrn-Priel AktivCard, you can use the mountain railways in Hinterstoder (Höss) and on the Wurzeralm at no extra cost. The toll road up to Höss is also included. This allows you to reach scenic hiking trails and alpine pastures conveniently and sustainably.
The AktivCard also covers selected public transport services in the region. This allows you to reach hiking areas, mountain railways and day-trip destinations in an eco-friendly way – and enjoy the 360° Alpine landscape at your leisure, without having to get in the car all the time.
