AGRU Tech Center

The AGRU Tech Center is the central training and competence center for the product line AGRUWELDING for plastic welding technology under real operating conditions. In addition, the AGRU Tech Center conducts welding trainings for the product groups AGRULINE, AGRUCHEM and PURAD . With an exhibition area of 550 m² and additional auxiliary areas of 100 m², suitable conditions for training, maintenance training, and professional exchange are available.

As a training and demonstration center, the Tech Center offers hands-on training and technical demonstrations for operators, technicians, service technicians, and end customers. The focus is on the safe application of AGRUWELDING welding technology, reproducible welding quality, and preparation for real project and service deployments. 
 

Welding Training and Maintenance at the AGRU Tech Center

The AGRU Tech Center conducts welding demonstrations, welding training, and maintenance training in the context of the AGRUWELDING product line. The training covers the entire spectrum of plastic welding and conveys both the safe handling of the machines as well as their proper maintenance.

Maintenance training uses both new and already deployed machines to simulate real service and maintenance situations.
 

AGRUWELDING Welding Machines and Welding Processes

The Tech Center has a wide range of AGRUWELDING welding machines available. This includes infrared welding machines, beading-free welding machines, electric socket welding machines, as well as manual and CNC butt welding machines up to dimension 630. The offering is complemented by cutting and workshop machines.

In addition to classical pipe welding, other welding processes such as wire feed welding, extrusion welding, and film welding methods are trained. A special focus within the AGRUWELDING product line is on the processing of fluoropolymers. For this purpose, the training facility is equipped with a powerful ventilation system.
 

Infrastructure and Additional Offers at the AGRU Tech Center

The AGRU Tech Center features meeting rooms, a product exhibition of the latest AGRU and AGRUWELDING products, as well as a fully assembled product isometry. This showcases AGRUWELDING solutions in real built applications. The product exhibition also supports the presentation of AGRUWELDING welding machines and provides an appropriate setting for customer appointments, demonstrations, and sales support discussions.

Additionally, specialty courses are offered upon request, such as steel lining with laminated panels or thermoforming of plastics.
