The Austrian Red Cross, District Office Steyr-City is located at Redtenbachergasse 3, 4400 Steyr. It is the central point of contact for the Red Cross in the city of Steyr and, in addition to emergency services, provides numerous social and health offers.
Among the most important services of the district office are:
- Emergency and patient transport
- Emergency medical service
- First aid courses
- Visit and health services
- Social market, Red Cross boutique, and Red Cross lounge
- Youth Red Cross as well as volunteer work and disaster relief.
The district office has modern emergency vehicles and, together with its full-time and volunteer employees, serves the operational area of Steyr-City and surrounding communities. The office is open Monday to Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., and Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
