Gradnalm

At the foot of the rugged ridge of the Kremsmauer lies the Gradnalm at 1,240 meters – a place with a wide view and genuine warmth. Here you can expect warm, seasonal dishes, fine game specialties, and sweet classics like apple-plum strudel and quark-apricot strudel, depending on the season. Many ingredients come from the farm itself. The Gradnalm is a popular meeting point in the Kremstal – down-to-earth, scenic, and full of moments of enjoyment.

There are several ascent possibilities, best starting from Kremsursprung via Sattelhald on the marked path to Gradnalm. The walking time is about 2 hours and the hiking trail is not too difficult. A round hike to Falkenmauer, to Kremsursprung, over Törl to Kremsmauer, into Steyrling or to Pfannstein (view into the Dead Mountains) is recommended.

From Steinbach am Ziehberg, take the hiking trail K21 via Lackergraben over Sattelhald to Gradnalm. Walking time: about 2.5 hours







From the Pyhrnpass federal road B 138 coming from Schön towards Kirchdorf, turn towards the airport before Micheldorf; Gradnalm is already marked. Follow the road into Krems until the last houses.
