Our Story

For 50 years, the Inka Boutique has been a fixed part of the Steyr city center. Founded in 1973 as the first jeans shop with "Art from Asia" and minerals, the scent of the wide world wafted through our boutique even then as incense. Initially located on Sierningerstraße, it later moved to Gleinkergasse. In 1978, the move to Grünmarkt followed, where we have been pursuing our passion ever since.

In the 1980s, you could not only buy tea from us but also taste it. Since the 90s, we have been specializing more and more as a specialist store in healing stones and unique pieces of jewelry. Around the turn of the millennium, a large department for incense and fragrances was added, and in the last 10 years, we have also expanded our textile department back to its former size. This way, we continually return to our roots while also forging new paths. Because that's exactly what makes us who we are in a way: A piece of tradition with constantly new influences.
