The poaching museum

If you want to delve even deeper into the history of poachers, the poaching museum in Molln offers impressive access to a chapter of Alpine cultural history. The original museum from St. Pankraz has been given a new home here - including the carefully collected props and documentation by Prof. Dr Roland Girtler.

In addition to the multifaceted examination of the topic of poaching, the museum is also dedicated to another speciality of the place: Jew's harp production in Molln. This craft is recognised as a UNESCO intangible cultural heritage and has shaped the region for centuries. The exhibition is complemented by an extensive collection on traditional wood processing.
