Movie Breakfast with Dancing

On Sunday, November 8, 2026, Kultur&Kino Kirchdorf will host its first-ever movie breakfast with dancing.

This morning, the tanzland association will present the premiere of a film portrait of the Albanian dance group Valltaret Besa Bes from Kirchdorf an der Krems, as well as “Zuagroast”—a film by the two internationally successful dancers Simon Mayer and Hannah Shakti Bühler (Art in Motion).
The documentary “Zuagroast” was produced in collaboration with, among others, ZIMT Braunau—Center for Interculturality, Coexistence, and Participation—and was filmed in the Innviertel region as part of the Festival of the Regions (Realistic Dreams, 2025). The project included short interviews as well as performative “bridge dances” on several bridges across the Inn River between Braunau and Schärding, highlighting dance as a living symbol of connection across geographical and social boundaries.
The film portrait of the dance group “Valltaret Besa Bes” from Kirchdorf an der Krems showcases a young generation that preserves a piece of Albanian culture through dance and music, keeping history and tradition alive in the present.
In the audience discussion that follows, the artists will be available to answer questions and, to wrap things up, will surprise the audience with a shared dance moment that builds bridges and gets everyone moving.
