After a hiatus of several years, the Windischgarsten Mountain Biking Club is bringing back the popular Foto Film Festl to the Kulturhaus Römerfeld on Saturday, November 28, 2026.
The audience can look forward to a varied program featuring visually stunning travel, sports, and life stories:
Herbert Mayr looks back on the spectacular Unicycle World Championships held right here on the Wurbauerkogel, while the men’s mountain biking team conquers three- and four-thousand-meter peaks in the Western Alps through challenging bike-and-hike ascents.
Björn Hunger documents his extraordinary journey on inline skates through Iceland’s rugged wilderness, while two touching portraits round out the evening —the moving story of Walter Seebacher, who is back on his bike despite being paraplegic, as well as the short film by Marlies and Andi Lattner-Czerny about the 94-year-old alpine climbing pioneer Maria Kittl.
