Spital am Pyhrn Parish’s 2026 Fall Cultural Season

This fall, those interested in culture will once again have the opportunity to discover something new—and perhaps even something unfamiliar.

Helmut Pichler will kick things off by guiding his audience through the world of the kingdoms of Nepal and Bhutan on Friday, October 30.

The “Lamama” spiritual choir, directed by Maria Langer, will perform on Saturday, November 7, during the evening Mass at 7 : 00 p.m. and will then give a concert in the collegiate church featuring a colorful variety of gospel songs.

Jörg Strohmann and Anna Schürrer will provide a comprehensive insight into the art-historical past of the former abbey and the abbey church on Saturday, November 14.

Also recommended is the evening with Sr. Teresa Hieslmayr on the topic “Believing Together, ” which will take place on Saturday, November 21.

All lectures will take place in the parish hall and begin at 7:30 p.m.

For the youngest attendees and everyone who’s young at heart, the Kasperl puppet show —directed by Maria and Birgit—will take the stage with a new adventure on Sunday, November 15, at 11:00 a.m. in the parish hall .
