The cable cars in Hinterstoder and on the Wurzeralm take you up to almost 2,000 metres above sea level - to where panoramic high-altitude trails begin, great peaks await and alpine pastures and mountain lakes invite you to pause for a moment. The themed trail **"2 million years in 2 hours"** leads around the largest low and high moor in the Eastern Limestone Alps. If you want to go higher, choose easy summits such as the **Stubwieswipfel** or hike to the **Dümlerhütte**. On selected days, the Frauenkarbahn even takes you up to around **1,900 metres**. From here, you can set off on the high mountain circular hiking trail with rare Alpine flora - or set your sights on the **Warscheneck**, one of the region's most striking peaks.
