Orientation & GPX data for your cycle pilgrimage tour
---------------------------------------------------------

Here you will find important information about the **Sebaldus Tour** in 360° Alpenland at a glance. This will keep you well orientated on your cycling pilgrimage - and free your mind for what counts on the way: the route, the landscape and your personal moments of reflection.

How do I find the routes?
-------------------------

- **Clear cycle map (1:50,000):**
All seven circular tours are colour-coded. Starting points in Gaflenz or Weyer, car parks, railway stations and special places along the route are clearly marked.
- **QR code & GPX download:**
Each stage has its own QR code on the map. After scanning it, you will be taken to the detailed route description and can download the relevant GPX data directly.
- **Navigation via app or bike computer:**
The GPX files can be easily imported into popular apps such as Outdooractive, Komoot or Bergfex. This makes it easy to navigate using a smartphone or bike computer - including altitude profile and route.

### Please note

The route is deliberately not comprehensively signposted. Out of consideration for nature and the landscape, the Sebaldus cycle pilgrimage relies on digital orientation and map material. Nevertheless, with a map and GPX data, you are safe on the road in 360° Alpine country.

Start the Sebaldustour well planned
-----------------------------------

A good tour starts before the first pedal stroke. It's best to download your stage **offline** in advance, as mobile phone reception is not guaranteed throughout the Sebaldustour. This way you can navigate reliably even without a mobile network.

If you are navigating online, remember to bring a **power bank** - the GPS and display consume a lot of energy, especially on longer routes.

Before you set off, find out about **road closures, diversions or current conditions**, as GPX data is based on OpenStreetMap and changes may be visible with a time delay.

### Download GPX tracks without registration

You can download the **GPX tracks of the Sebaldustour** directly and without registration - here, for example:

- **sebaldustour.at** - GPX download possible without registration
- **ausflugstipps.at** - various formats such as GPX or KML available without registration

Platforms such as Komoot or Outdooractive require registration.

### Offline navigation: so you are independent when travelling

Apps with **offline maps** are suitable for the Sebaldustour as they work independently of the internet.

**Preparation in the WLAN**

- Download the GPX file and import it into your app.
- Save the appropriate region offline.
- Check the battery level and, if necessary, activate flight mode with GPS switched on - this saves energy.

### Deactivate pop-up blocker (if no download starts)

A pop-up window opens during the GPX download. If this does not appear, check your browser settings.

**Android (Chrome)**
1\. Open the **Chrome app**.
 2. Tap on the three dots → **Settings**.
 3. Select **Website settings** → **Pop-ups and redirects**.
 4. Activate the slider (blue).

**iPhone (Safari)**
1\. Open **Settings**.
 2. Scroll to **Safari**.
 3. Deactivate **"Block pop-ups".**

So you are technically well prepared - and can concentrate fully on your route through the Sebaldus region and the landscape around the Kalkalpen National Park.
