The 360° Alpenland offers a variety of road bike routes for all ability levels, from leisurely tours to challenging mountain pass crossings and flatter routes along rivers.

Please note that the road bike tours are not signposted (exception: the Pyhrn-Priel panoramic tour as R311/R811)!
You can find the route descriptions with GPS data here on the website.

The best time to ride a road bike is usually summer, from June to September. During this time, the roads are dry and the temperatures are pleasant.

In addition to a well-maintained road bike, you will need a helmet, a first aid kit, suitable cycling clothing, a rucksack with provisions and sufficient water, as well as a repair bag with the most important tools.

The Hengst Pass and the Pyhrn Pass are particularly popular, and the 3 Passes Tour is recommended here.
Another favourite is the National Park Giro with 131km and 1,600m and the Sportpanorama Tour in Bad Hall.

In spring, the Upper Austria Tour takes place with a finish stage on the Höss in Hinterstoder. At the end, the pros tackle the Höss panorama road with a difference in altitude of around 900 metres.

In spring, the Upper Austria Tour takes place with a finish stage on the Höss in Hinterstoder. At the end, the pros tackle the Höss panoramic road with a difference in altitude of around 900 metres. Hobby and licence riders can take part in the Höss Climb Challenge in advance and compete with the pros.

Every year in July, the [Tour of Austria](https://www.360alpenland.com/oesterreich-veranstaltung/detail/430278114/tour-of-austria.html) leads through the heart of Upper Austria - with stage locations in 360° Alpine country, where sporting ambition meets mountain feeling and genuine hospitality
