Featuring songs about life and love. With stories and anecdotes spanning more than 40 years in show business. About success and failure, about jazz, musicals, and friendship. A piano, a guitar (probably even two or three, if you know Viktor…), a bass. And a man behind the microphone who plays all these instruments and accompanies himself musically throughout the evening. Definitely not cabaret. Rather, a classic personality show. Personal, distinctive, and one-of-a-kind. Jazz, traditional pop, and Broadway tunes. From the original English, through his own translations in dialect and standard German, to his original compositions. Plus, reflections on a long career, stand-up segments, and impersonations. Occasionally sentimental, often ironic, and consistently romantic. In short… A Crooner’s Night. Songs About Love & Life.
