For more information and registrations: https://badhaller-kraeuterhof.at/kraeuter-picknick/ **Herbs** The essential oils and hydrolates are obtained by steam distillation from flowers and leaves. The hydrolate is created as a condensate during distillation, and its efficacy is somewhat milder than that of the essential oil. Hydrolates are versatile and can be used as fragrance sprays as well as body sprays, hair waters, or for insect repellent. The effect of essential oils is more intense and should only be used in small amounts. They may cause reactions (irritations of skin and eyes) and should therefore only be used diluted (e.g., with neutral oils).
