Farming is our shared passion. We are the Hagauer family - agriculture is our shared passion. Our organic dairy farm is located in the beautiful national park community of Großraming in Upper Austria. In the "Milchkuche" on the farm, the milk from our 40 Fleckvieh and Jersey cows has been processed into high-quality food since 2020. What makes our farm special is the **housing method** of the cows and calves: the "**calf-rearing with cow connection**". Calves have the opportunity to drink from their mother or a wet nurse. They do not receive a feeding bucket, as is common in conventional dairy farming. *So don't confuse our system with mother cow husbandry (meat production)* If you want to know more about it, just contact us – we look forward to an interesting conversation! Our products are characterized by special animal welfare and the resulting good quality. Through direct marketing from the farm and your support, we have the opportunity to pass on the added value of our milk. With great care and as unprocessed as possible, you will find in our milk hut at the farm: Fresh organic raw milk and/or organic whole milk Both still contain valuable nutrients, as the **raw milk** comes untreated directly from the cow, into the tank, and into your milk bottle. The **whole milk** is gently pasteurized (not homogenized) and thus made somewhat longer-lasting. Tip: After about 2-3 days, cream separates both in the raw milk and in the whole milk. This is perfectly normal and makes the farm milk so unique, as neither was heated to a high temperature! Many may remember it from earlier times when the cream was simply skimmed off and used to refine dishes or as coffee cream. **Organic natural yogurt and organic fruit yogurts** The natural yogurt is filled into jars and served firm in the refrigerator. The practical enjoyment yogurts with fruity layers in the 180g returnable jar are ideal as a dessert or for a little hunger in between. **Organic quark and organic quark spreads** Delightfully creamy quark that can be used in many ways and is also the main ingredient of the spreads. **Organic sour cream and organic whipped cream** By centrifuging the milk, it is separated into skim milk and cream, which is kept "sweet" as whipped cream or further processed into sour cream after being soured. **Organic farmer butter and organic buttermilk** True, handmade butter is also produced from the sour cream, along with the leftover buttermilk from the production. **Organic fruit whey, organic iced coffee, and organic cocoa** **Only available in summer!** Our "cool milk drinks" are a delightful refreshment. Whey is produced during the quark production and is further refined with exotic fruits. Iced coffee and cocoa in 250ml returnable bottles contain only the necessary ingredients and much less sugar. **..and organic eggs** Our chickens, which can be found everywhere on the farm during the day and find refuge in their mobile chicken coop.
