It was originally built by concentration camp inmates during the winter of 1943 and is now used for exhibits on Steyr’s history during the time of national socialist rule. The path through the horseshoe-shaped site follows chronologically arranged exhibits highlighting the years 1938 to 1945.  The exhibition approaches the topic via biographies and displays personal descriptions, historical photos as well as written documents.
