As the first owner, Otto Sunn is mentioned in 1170. The castle is a two- to three-story hook building with three square towers. The courtyard is a lawn intersected by gravel paths and is enclosed on both undeveloped sides by a high wall. The residential wing consists of the old palace of the castle Feyregg and the baroque extension between the palace, old tower, and staircase tower. Here are the living quarters of the owner. On the ground floor, there are guest rooms, including the so-called President's Room, where Federal President [Karl Renner](https://austria-forum.org/af/AustriaWiki/Karl_Renner "Karl Renner") stayed when he was in [Bad Hall](https://austria-forum.org/af/AustriaWiki/Bad_Hall "Bad Hall") for a cure. On the upper floor, there are additional living and ceremonial rooms with stucco ceilings. One hall is equipped with a carved ribbed ceiling and a multi-branched lead crystal chandelier.
