Hinterstoder is Upper Austria's only ski World Cup venue and today enjoys the reputation of an attractive year-round vacation community. The "Pearl of the Alps" Hinterstoder - a title for exceptional holiday destinations in the Alps, whose primary concerns are climate protection and sustainable mobility - stands surrounded by the impressive mountain scenery of the dead with their authentic village. Winter sports is very important in Hinterstoder - from diverse departure pleasure on the Hutterer Höss about romantic horse-drawn carriage rides through to hearty sledding enough the range of winter activities. But even in the summer more than 1,000-strong community Hinterstoder is considered recreational and leisure paradise.
