 Buchteln (Czech, Slovakian, Silesian buchty), also known as Wuchteln, oven noodles, Beinzla or Rohrnudeln (in Bavaria and the Palatinate), are a sweet, filled or unfilled pastry dish that is baked in the oven. Buchteln are considered a typical dish of Bohemian cuisine; however, they are also common, sometimes with different names, in Austrian, Bavarian, Palatinate, Saxon, Swabian and Silesian cuisine as well as in the cuisine of Slovenia.
