The Berghotel Sonnalm in the middle of the Wurzeralm ski area is a family-friendly house and is the ideal starting point for many holiday activities in summer and winter. At 1,400m above sea level is the rustic mountain hotel with a Tyrolean lounge, open fireplace, tiled stove, house bar, après-ski parlor and much more. All 10 apartments are equipped with shower, toilet, kitchen and dining table. A sauna, an infrared cabin and a whirlpool are available for a daily fee of 10 euros. In the Sonnalm you will be spoiled with a rich breakfast buffet and local cuisine. In the evenings, the cozy bar – with good music – is open to guests. The ski slope, tow lift and Sunny Kids Park are right by the house, the mountain station of the funicular is 150m away. Guided hikes to the surrounding huts and alpine pastures, nocturnal torchlight hikes and guided ski tours in winter are offered by prior arrangement.
