During the abbey tour, we will show you the abbey rooms such as the Bernardisaal, the library, the abbey church, the cloister with the Schlierbach Madonna, the Margret-Bilger Gallery & glass art inspection. Lastly, different Schlierbach organic cheese specialties will be tasted in the Panorama. Since 1999, organic cheese specialties have also been produced in the abbey dairy. The Panorama Café & Lounge was designed to provide a complementary contrast to the historic architecture of the Baroque abbey. The transparent building appears inviting and friendly to visitors. It serves as a meeting area, houses a monastery shop, and provides space for exhibitions and seminars. The Schlierbach dairy was founded in 1924, with its first product being the Schlierbach castle cheese. This finely seasoned soft cheese with red culture is still one of the most important products of the organic dairy today.
